Project 2 Art Gallery

A.
The Marina Piccola
-  Because it really embraces the sunset and an early time in civilization. The mountains and water in motion really amazed me.
The Coming Storm
-  Not only the natural landscape is so eye catching but the contrast of colors from dark to light real embraces and captures and amazing image that displays dark but also light at the same time.

B.
Les Falaises de Greville
-  This piece really takes me back to when I went to Ireland and reminds me of the vast beuty their coasts displayed.
L'Homme au Hamae
-  Me and my buddy went through a Jazz phase growing up and this piece really reminds me of many album covers that Jazz artists had.

C.
Sky Cathedral
-  What seems to be wood painted black seems to me that there is much more to grasp telling by the pieces title.
Figure Triste
-  This really cool looking geometric shaped portrait seems to be more them what it actaully shpes out to be by the glance.

  1. I also picked The Coming Storm to talk about in my blog. I too found the attention to detail and contrast between the light and dark to be gorgeous and captivating.

  2. I did not pick any of the same artworks as you have, but from your selections I found the Sky Cathedral to be very interesting to look at. I instantly wanted to know more about it. The all black, and use of shapes made me have to take multiple looks at it in order to see somethings I missed when first looking.
