1. Explain why you selected each of the TWO videos you choose from the selection listed above.

I chose Matisse and Picasso because I wanted to learn more about their relationship with one another.  I chose the Spanish art video because ancient art interests me.

2. For each video list/discuss the key concepts you learned.

In the video Matisse and Picasso you find out that both artists were very different from one another.  From art styles to personality and most importantly there view on art.  They exchanged their art with one another and there relationship was very mutual it seemed.

2. How do the videos relate to the readings in the text?

Like the readings they go over Picasso's art of using female figures a lot as well as in both videos they explain that his largest inspiration is true form and nature in his work.

3. What is your opinion of the films? How do they add depth to understanding of the readings and art concepts?

The films I thought were very informative and gave little interesting faces like how apparently they Picasso used a portrait of Matisse's daughter as a dart board.  Not super informative but it shows were there relationship stands.
